Choosing the Right Appointment

If you have received a text message from the practice inviting you to book your Annual Review or a Health Care Appointment, please make sure you select the appointment length stated in your message.

Choosing the correct appointment helps ensure your review runs smoothly and that we have enough time for your checks.

10-minute appointment
For one health check only, such as:

  • Blood tests

  • Blood pressure check

20-minute appointment
For both blood tests and a blood pressure check or Annual Review during the same visit.

If your message advises you which appointment to book, please follow that guidance.


If you need both checks, please choose the 20-minute appointment.

Blood test appointments cannot be booked without prior approval from a clinician.

If you have not already spoken to a clinician, please do not book this appointment.
Instead, contact the practice or submit an online blood test request form so your request can be reviewed first.

Once approved, we will let you know how to book the correct appointment.

Booking without approval may result in your appointment being cancelled.
